Robert Alan, 65, of Southborough, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, surrounded by his family, after a long illness. He was the son of Lucille Alan of Westborough and the late Ramon Alan who died in 2015.

 

Robert was a graduate of Northeastern University and was a software engineer who worked for several Metro West area companies throughout his career.   

 

Robert was a talented musician who enjoyed playing blues piano at the Acton Jazz Café. He was also an avid sports-enthusiast and supported all of the Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots.

 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Rebecca Rae Bawn and her husband Andrew of Oxford; Jason Alan of N. Grafton; his brother Michael Alan and his wife Charlotte of Methuen; his former spouse Marie (Bean) Alan of N. Grafton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

Funeral services will be private.
