Richard P. DePina, 64, of Oxford passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 31, 2019 with his family by his side.
Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Elisabeth “Betty” (Dannenman) and Napoleon “Pete” DePina of Southborough.
Richard was a 1973 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical School of Marlborough and earned an associate’s degree from Wentworth Institute of Boston. For over 20 years, he worked for the former Data General of Southborough as a machinist before working for I.P.G of Oxford. Boasting an outgoing personality, Richard brought laughter and joy to many. He loved fishing, golfing, collecting/building model trains, and traveling. Richard was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters Lauren and Colleen DePina both of Worcester; his longtime partner and best friend, April Duval of Oxford; his sister, Susan M. Counterman of PA; his grandchildren, Angel Ameng and Annabella DePina.
A memorial services will be held. at 11 am on Saturday, May 4th at the First Baptist Church of North Oxford, North Oxford ,Ma 01537
