Peter S. Kentel, Jr, 83, of Southborough, died Friday, October 20, 2023, at his home in Southborough.
He was the son of the late Peter and Christine E. (Depiro) Kentel and the husband of June A. (Paskavitz) Kentel, to whom he was married for 64 years. He was predeceased by his son Paul, who died in 2017.
Besides his wife, Peter is survived by his children, Susan Simmons and her husband Robert of Wolfeboro, NH, Richard and his wife, Teresa of Hudson, Linda Flagg of Southborough, Sheryl Jolly and her husband, Robert of Worcester and Peter S. Kentel of Wolfeboro. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00PM at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough, MA 01772, A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Matthews Church, Highland St., Southborough, MA. Burial will follow at Southborough Rural Cemetery, 11 Cordaville Rd., Southborough, MA.
