Patricia A. (Garvey) Aspinwall

Patricia A. (Garvey) Aspinwall, 87, of Southborough, died Monday, April 8, 2024, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA.

Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Dorothy E. (Thompson) Garvey and wife of the late Frank R. Aspinwall, to whom she was married for 29 years and who passed away in 2000. She was predeceased by her brothers, Patrick, Joseph, and Robert.

Patricia attended St. Patrick’s School and Natick High School.

She had a career of 38 years as a telephone operator and receptionist starting with New England Telephone Company in 1953, and also Chrysler Corporation, AllState Insurance Company, U.S. Army Labs and MetroWest Medical Center of Framingham.

Patricia wintered for 20 years with her husband Frank in Port Charlotte, FL.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hurst of Southborough and Dorothy “De” and her husband Fred Costanza of Natick, her grandchildren, Thomas Hurst and his partner Caitlin Wood of Grafton and Michael Hurst and his wife Amanda of Grafton, her great granddaughter, Delaney Hurst, her brother, James Garvey and several nieces and nephews. Her closest friend, Edith “Sue” Shagoury, passed away in 2011.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 5:00-7:00PM at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough, MA 01772. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:30AM at St. Matthew Church, 80 Cordaville Rd., Southborough, MA. Burial will follow at Southborough Rural Cemetery, 11 Cordaville Rd., Southborough, MA
