Margaret A. (Callahan ) Lawton, 98 ,  of Marlborough died Wednesday night, July 8, 2015 after a period of declining health.

She was the wife of the late T. Edward Lawton.

Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Lyons) Callahan.

Margaret was a home maker and was a talented seamstress, avid reader and enjoyed writing poetry.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Battles of Southborough; Diane Carroll and her husband James of Hanover; Kathleen Haviland of Nokomis, FL; Thomas Lawton and his wife Paula of Goshen, NH; Margaret Fergusson and husband George of Whitefield, ME; 15 Grandchildren;  24  great grandchildren;

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 13, from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Southborough.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow on Monday at 11 AM at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in her memory to St. Anne Haitian Apostolate,  20 Boston Rd, Southborough, MA  01772
