Kathleen L. 'Kathy' McDermott, 68, of Southborough passed away at her home after suddenly being stricken ill, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019
Born in Wellesley, was the daughter of the late France G.and Mary Louise (McDemott) McDermott.
She was a 1968 graduate of Troy High School of Fullerton, CA and earned her Bachelor’s degree at Cal State Univ, Hayward, class of 1972. Kathy worked as a computer consultant for many years and then worked for Newton Wellesley Hospital as a unit coordinator, and volunteered as an Eucharistic minister. She was a long time active member of St Paul's Church of Wellesley.
She is survived by a brother and a sister; many niece and nephews and a very dear friend, Janice Heath; and many friends and associates.
She is predeceased by a brother and a sister...
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February, 4 from 2 to 4 pm at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.
A Mass of resurrection will be held on Tuesday, February 5, at 10am at St Paul's Church, 502 Washington Street, Wellesley.
