Jane Colman Venne, 88, of  Framingham died on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Parmenter Community Care and Hospice in Wayland.
She was the wife of the late Robert G. Venne.
Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Persis (Howe) Colman.
Jane was a 1945 graduate of Framingham High School and earned an associate’s degree at Edgewood Park Junior College of Briarwood Manor, NY.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed summers on the Cape at her home in East Sandwich.   Jane’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons,  Gregory Venne of Medford; Robert G. Venne, Jr.  and his wife Lisa of Southborough; her grandchildren, Hattie, Courtney and Elyse; her sister, Nancy Hill and Louise Hallisey,  both of Westborough;  her brother, William Colman and his wife Bonnie of Mattapoisett ; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Peter Venne.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 7, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.  
A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM in the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Edgell Grove Cemetery  in Framingham.
