Helen M. (Johnson) Harding, 99, of Marlborough and formerly of Southborough passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St Patrick’s Manor in Framingham.
She as the beloved wife of Philip A. Harding who died in 1992.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Isabel (Cusick) Johnson.
Helen was a 1938 graduate of the former Peter’s High School in Southborough and was married in 1946. She loved raising her two children and being a housewife. Helen was a member of Southborough Catholic Women’s Club, Southborough Senior Citizens, Wayside Racquet Club, friends of the Southborough Library and St Anne Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening and traveling. Helen and her husband, Phil also liked taking their camper to different campsites.
She is survived by her children, James Harding and his wife Margaret of Southborough; Linda Buzzell and her husband Donald of Northborough; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 5, from 5 to 7pm at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 6 at 10:30 am at St Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough.
Memorial contributions may be sent in her name to Friends of the Southborough Library, 25 Main Street, Southborough or St Anne Church.
