Gary R. Taylor, 67, of Marlborough passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.  He was the fiancé of Joanne (Madden) Gauvin of Marlborough.

He was the son of the late Marguerite (Bessque) and Robert B. Taylor

Gary attended school in Milford and graduated from Hopedale High School.

He was a facilities director for several years at the Spectrum House in Westborough, and  worked as a Program Advocate at Roland’s House in Marlborough for over 16 years.

He was a friend of Bill W. for over 22 years. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his fiancée, he is survived by his children, Steven Taylor of WA; Jessica Leigh Stagg and her husband, Kevin of Clinton; his siblings, Robert Taylor, III of Brookfield; Charlene Taylor of MO; his grandchildren, Zenah Rea and Zander Reilly Stagg; and Andrew Gauvin of CT.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, at 11 am at Holy Trinity, 472 Lincoln Street, Marlborough, MA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Gary’s memory to the Holy Trinity Church, 472 Lincoln Street, Marlborough, MA 01772.
