Emlyn (Iannone) Amato, 65, of Westborough and formerly of Northborough passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on  Saturday, January 23, 2016.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas Bertonazzi.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Joseph A. Iannone of FL and the late Mary T (Ezzo) Iannone.
Emlyn spent her life devoted to her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with them all, especially her cherished grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her children, Gregory Amato and his companion Elizabeth Hastings of Portland, OR; Damon Amato and his wife Larissa of Northborough; her stepchildren, Kim Bertonazzi of Oxford; Matt Bertonazzi and his wife Laura of Southborough;  her siblings, Nick Iannone and his wife Cathy of Italy; Ralph Iannone and his wife Melissa of Southborough; Stella Tolentino of E. Falmouth; a stepmother Ruth Iannone; 4 adored grandchildren, Chase and Evie Amato; and Lillian and Jameson Bertonazzi.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 27,  at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough f
from  4:30 to 7:30 PM.

Funeral and burial will be private.
