Elizabeth (Gazouleas) Dutton, 52, of Southborough died Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of Todd A. Dutton for over 26 years.
Born in Bronxville, NY, she was the daughter of Patricia (Tuttle) Gazouleas and the late Panajiotis Gazouleas.
Beth graduated from the University of Pennsylvania as a software engineer. She worked at IBM after a long and successful career which included stints at Data General, Stratus Computer, Netlink, Avici, Netezza, and a number of startup companies in the Metro west area. Beth was a fan of many kinds of music and was herself a skilled and talented flute player. She traveled widely and with relish. She was known to her friends and family as an avid sports fan, but especially as a rabid Red Sox fan.
Beth is survived by her husband and mother as well as her two brothers, John Gazouleas and his wife Cindy of Sugar Land, Texas; Edward Gazouleas and his wife Kazuko Matsusaka of Bloomington, Indiana; and her two nephews, Stephen and Michael Gazouleas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10 at 1 pm at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Rte 30, Southborough. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in her memory to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th St., New York, NY10022. BCRFcure.org.
