Elaine Ann (Cucura) Davidson

Elaine Ann Davidson, 83, of Southborough, died Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at Marlborough Hospital, Marlborough, Ma. Elaine was married to Dr. Bruce Davidson, of Southborough, Ma, her partner of over 50 years.

She was born and raised in Peckville, Pa., daughter of the late Emma and John Cucura. Elaine graduated from Marywood College in 1962 and obtained a masters in education from SUNY Cortland. She was a beloved elementary school teacher, most recently in Lexington, Ma.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Heather Davidson and her husband John Ney, of Newton; her son Scott Davidson and his wife Bevin Kenney, of Jamaica Plain; her brother Daniel, of Clarks Summit, Pa; and her sisters-in-law Peg Cucura of Clarks Summit, Pa, and Andrea Cucura, of Endicott, NY. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Jack and Emily Ney, and Neve and Desmond Davidson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother John of Endicott, NY.

A private funeral service is planned for Elaine at Southborough Rural Cemetery.
