Daniel R. Jackman, 73, of Hopedale (and formerly of Marlborough), died Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
Dan was the son of the late John M. and Stella I. (Jackson) Jackman and the husband of Pamela (Curtiss) Jackman who were married for 52 years. He was predeceased by his daughter Alicia Jackman and his sister Donna Merlini.
Along with his wife Pam, Dan is survived by his daughter Jennifer Jackman of Hopedale and his grandchildren, Emma A. Jackman and Ethan D. Jackman. He is also survived by his brothers Douglas Jackman and husband Stephen of Vermont, Darrell Jackman and his wife Margaret of Marlborough. He is survived by brother in laws, sister in laws, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Dan worked at Stetco in Westborough until he retired. He enjoyed going to Vermont, hikes/walks, gardening and maple creemies. He also enjoyed hockey, football, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
In lieu of flowers or a donation the family is requesting to plant a shrub or a perennial in your own yard in memory of Daniel.
Private funeral services for Dan will be held by his family per Dan’s wishes.
