Charles E. Conant, 68, of Pahoa, Hawaii and formerly of Northborough passed away at his home on December 14, 2016.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Josephine (Bissbi) and Archer Conant.
Charlie was a 1967 graduate of Algonquin Regional High School, where he played football and was a co-captain for 3 years as well as belonging to many clubs and activities. After graduation Charlie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving in Vietnam.  He is a proud Marine combat Veteran.  Before moving to Hawaii, he owned a concrete business on Cape Cod.   After moving to Hawaii he earned his master's degree in counseling from the University of Hawaii in 2012 and worked as a counselor for other disable veterans. Charlie enjoyed helping other veterans, traveling, fishing and scuba diving.
He leaves his brother Archer Conant, Jr of CA; Bruce Conant of Ft. Kent, ME; Roger Conant of Leominster. 
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 7, at 9:15AM at Howard Street Cemetery in Northborough.
Arrangements are under the care of Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Soutborough.
