Cesar Edmundo Piedra, 61, of Marlborough passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

He was the husband of Grace (Marcela) Piedra for the past 32 years.

Cesar was a lover of music and played the guitar.  He was very spiritual and for many years he was a meditation enthusiasts. He also enjoyed traveling.  However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife he leaves a son Cesar A. Piedra and his grandson Cesar A. Piedra, Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 11, at 3 PM at Pilgrim Church, Common Street, Southborough.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
